The OCEANIA 20.5m is a GRP Cedar core hull designed for rough water conditions. The bottom shape has moderate deadrise at the stern and deep vee bow sections and is specifically designed for twin diesel inboard engines of 650 h.p. up. Twin 8V92 turbocharged GM's will give a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots in normal cruising trim. Further performance figures on application.

The construction is of Cedar core reinforced externally and internally with GRP. The craft has four box section girders formed out of plywood and reinforced externally with GRP to stiffen the hull from bow to stern and these also act as engine bearers through the centre of the engine room area where they are reinforced internally with solid timber.

The hull has many water-tight bulkheads as well as water-tight floors which are built on a foam/ply/foam principle bonded into place with GRP. This also stiffens the vessel throughout as well as making the craft extremely safe.

The interior layout features a large stateroom aft under the cockpit area with full headroom throughout. A saloon 21'9" (6.6m) in fore and aft length as well as 4 staterooms forward all with double berths and two shower and WC areas. However, the interior layout given is a guide only and can be altered by the builder to suit individual requirements. The flying bridge has been designed to give maximum protection with generous settee seating. This can also be altered to suit. Aft of the flying bridge is a raised sundeck under the radar arch.

The fuel capacity is up to 7 tonnes and this would enable long distance cruising at displacement speeds. Fuel consumption and cruising range depend on the type of engines chosen and the speeds undertaken.

The plan includes lines drawing with table of offsets with full working drawings plus computer programme GRP layup.
