The CHANCELLOR 10m has been specifically de­signed for outdrive propulsion and high speed. The hull is a deep vee design with approximately 20' deadrise at the transom and features four lifting strakes, two per side, on the bottom and a large centre lifting strake in the form of a 254mm wide external keel. The twin outdrives keep the overall draught to a minimum. This design features a very wide chine beam with fairly plumb sides at the stern to give the maximum amount of buoyancy in the after sec­tion to take the weight of about 1000 kgs of machinery right against the transom.

In this particular design we have been able to lower the floor in the saloon approximately 800mm thereby bringing the cabin top down a similar height. All this headroom has gone into the en­closed flying bridge, an excellent feature on this type of craft ena­bling all expensive electronics to be locked away. Also available is an alternative cabin version with open flying bridge and also included is a sports version featuring low deck and streamlined windscreen with accommodation under the deck.

The interior layouts have been designed to suit the specific type of cabin styling shown on the plans but the layouts can be al­tered to suit. The fuel capacity of about 200 gals is carried under the saloon floor and water tanks are fitted forward either under the double berth or under the vee berths with up to 100 gals. Twin 200 h.p. duoprops will give a useable speed of 31 knots and a top speed of approximately 36 knots depending on the weight of the finished vessel.

The construction is based on my proven high performance launch construction with two laminations of 9mm ply over heavy lami­nated stringers, keelson and chine with frames at approx. 1m spacings. The topsides is one lamination of 9mm and one of 6mm.

The plan includes FULLSIZE PATTERNS of the frames, stem etc. plus detailed working drawings and written instructions. The plan is in metric and imperial measurements.
