The VENDETTA 9m has been designed as a high speed offshore sports craft suitable for fishing, diving and limited cruising. The craft is approximately 50% bigger in volume than the smaller 7m Vendetta and heavier in displacement. The construction is double skin 5 ply on the bottom, double skin 5 ply sides over fore and aft girders. The bottom is completely reinforced from chine to chine and up the girders with a heavy laminate of internal GRP based on chopped strand mat overlaid with 18oz woven rovings. There is a watertight floor fitted throughout the craft and the forward berths are bonded in with fibreglass to further reinforce the forward part of the hull.

The craft is suited for single or twin surface drives, single or twin inboard/outboards or twin outboards. A 300 h.p. diesel coupled to a surface drive will give a cruise of around 40 knots depending on the all up weight of the craft. A 300 h.p. petrol engine, a cruise of 40 knots and a top speed of about 48 knots. Twin 225 h.p. outboards a top speed of around 55/60 knots cruise at 45 knots. The interior layout consists of vee berths forward under the foredeck, then galley unit to port and enclosed toilet compartment to starboard. The large cockpit features 2 forward facing seats with helm position to starboard and two settees extending aft to clear the engine hatches.
