The CASINO is a 15m planing hull designed for 25 to 30 knots cruising speeds. This craft can be powered by diesel engines through surface drives, I/Os, conventional drives or jets. Twin 400 h.p. diesels would give a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. Twin 550 h.p. diesels would give a top speed of 33 knots and a cruise of 27 knots. The hull configuration is medium vee 15° deadrise at the stern rising to 45° at point of entry with the hull being parallel vee over the last third or planing section. Construction can be plywood or double diagonal over sawn frames and plywood bulkheads or alternatively foam or balsa core construction over the same basic frame work glassed in as a structural component of the craft.
The interior layout has been designed to give a spacious saloon area with a fold out bed settee to starboard, dinette to port and a large galley port aft. There is a small double cabin situated under the port settee with access through from the fore cabin. This has a double berth with doors to an ensuite, shower, W.C. etc. To starboard there is another double cabin and forward four vee berths. The flying bridge has been left relatively uncluttered with two settees down each side, conventional forward helm position and plenty of space on the after end for sunbathing etc. The saloon with its sliding side windows gives a pleasant living area well ventilated with plenty of internal accommodation but still keeping a large cockpit for game fishing etc.
The plan includes FULLSIZE TEMPLATES of the frames, stem, transom etc. plus detailed working drawings on hull construction, deck and cabin, engine arrangement etc. The plan gives metric and imperial measurements.
